A seasoned Executive Vice President and Senior Level Derivative Trader for Lehman Brothers on Wall Street, Mr. Odom made a strategic move to Costa Rica in 2009, firmly establishing himself in San Rafael Escazú about 11 years ago after exploring the country’s stunning countryside, including notable years on the Pacific coast in Tamarindo and the Caribbean coast in Playa Cocles.

With four decades of experience as a Certified Asset Manager, he is expertly harnessing his extensive people and networking skills to connect discerning buyers and sellers. Mr. Odom commands a robust network of high-level contacts across Costa Rica and the United States, with a strong focus on regions from Boston to Long Island and Manhattan, all the way down to South Florida, including West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and South Beach Miami.

His approach is both direct and effective, rooted in the principles of Occam’s Razor, as he skillfully brings together high-net-worth families and individuals with exceptional sellers and prime properties.

Mr. Odom is familiar with being a homeowner himself, having owned 5 and 6-bedroom homes in the United States. Additionally, Mr. Odom was the Lead & Director of a group that raised $6.7 million to purchase the former 4-star Clarion hotel in historic Barrio Amon in San Jose, Costa Rica, which included 94 guest rooms, the Casino, the Casino license, three restaurants, and three high-end bars. This was in 2011, the group lost the deal to a $7.1 million offer 3 weeks before closing. However, the experience gained from the negotiations is invaluable.

Mr. Odom is also well cultured and educated, having 2 BBA degrees, with one undergraduate in Financial Investments, while a second BBA degree is in Accounting. He also holds a Master's, with his MBA in Quantitative & Statistical Analysis from TCU.
